Winter Punch

The Winter Punch from Spoonsparrow impresses with its delicious taste of oranges and spices.

Ingredients

  • 2 bottles light rosé wine (0.75 l each)
  • 2 tbsp whole cane sugar
  • 1 Vanilla bean
  • 6 cardamom pods
  • 4 tbsp cloves
  • 2 star anise
  • 2 Cinnamon sticks
  • 100 ml orange liqueur
  • 100 ml Orange Juice
  • 6 organic oranges
  • 10 kumquats

Instructions

    Add rosé wine and sugar to a pot. Split the vanilla bean lengthwise, scrape out the seeds and add both the seeds and the pod to the pot.

    Add cardamom, 5 cloves, star anise, and cinnamon; heat slowly but do not boil. Remove from heat and stir in orange liqueur and juice.

    Wash oranges and kumquats hot, pierce oranges with spice cloves and place them in the punch. Pour into a punch bowl and serve.
