Orange Punch with Cinnamon

The orange punch with cinnamon by Spoonsparrow is ideal for cozy winter evenings. Made quickly and with only six ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 2 organic oranges
  • 15 cloves
  • 250 ml clear apple juice
  • 600 ml dry light red wine
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 5 cinnamon sticks

Instructions

    Wash the oranges, pat them dry, cut one orange in half and slice into wedges. Skewer each wedge with three cloves.

    Squeeze the juice from the second half of the orange and the remaining orange.

    Combine the orange juice with apple juice, red wine, honey, the remaining cloves, and a cinnamon stick; bring to a gentle boil and let it steep for about 10 minutes on low heat.

    Distribute the orange wedges and cinnamon sticks among four glasses and strain the punch into the glasses. Serve immediately.
