Ingredients

  • 4 large apples (Boskop)
  • 20 g soft butter
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 0.5 packet vanilla sugar
  • 10 ml rum
  • 1 tbsp Raisins
  • 1 tbsp ground almonds
  • 1 tbsp coarsely chopped nuts (optional)

  • Cinnamon

Instructions

    Soak a Romertopf pot in water.

    Soak raisins in water until softened.

  3. 3.

    Wash apples and remove the core with an apple corer.

  4. 4.

    Mix butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar; stir in drained raisins and almonds, then fill the mixture into the apples.

    Place the filled apples in the soaked Romertopf, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, bake at 200°C for about 45 minutes.
