Roasted Apples in Bread

Ingredients
- 50 ml rum
- 120 g raisins
- 1 loaf of bread
- 4 apples
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 40 g ground almonds
- 40 g ground hazelnuts
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 0.5 tsp clove powder
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp Maple syrup
- 30 g Butter

Heat the rum and soak the raisins in it. Cut a lid from the loaf of bread and hollow out the interior. Weigh 100 g of the bread filling. Wash the apples, cut off a lid, remove the core with an apple corer without piercing the bottom. Use a knife to enlarge the opening and drizzle with lemon juice.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F) with upper and lower heat.

Mix the ground almonds and hazelnuts with the raisins, rum, cinnamon, honey, maple syrup and the bread dough. Grease a baking dish with half of the butter, place the apples in it, cover with the lid and top with the remaining butter pieces. Bake the apples in the preheated oven for 20-30 minutes.

Remove and serve on the bread dough.
