Ingredients

  • 150 g walnut kernels
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 cloves
  • 500 ml double spirit
  • 400 ml dry white wine
  • 300 g brown sugar

Instructions

    Remove the brown skins from the walnut kernels and roast them in a pan without fat until fragrant.

    Fill a mason jar, add the cinnamon stick and cloves, then top with the double spirit. Let steep for about 4 weeks in a dark place.

    Afterward strain. Bring the white wine and sugar to a boil until fully dissolved. Remove from heat, let cool, add the walnut infusion, and pour into prepared bottles.

    Store chilled and dark for another week before serving.
