Ingredients
- 250 g celery root
- 2 tart apples
- 125 g walnut kernels
- juice of 1 lemon
- 100 g heavy cream
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise (ready-made)
- Salt
- ground pepper
- a pinch of sugar
- Salad leaves
Instructions

Peel the apples, quarter them and remove the cores. Peel the celery root and grate it coarsely or cut into fine strips; immediately drizzle with lemon juice.

Beat the heavy cream to half‑firm peaks, gradually whisk in the mayonnaise until a smooth, creamy sauce forms; season with salt, pepper, and sugar.

Reserve some walnut halves for garnish, chop the rest. Mix the salad sauce with apples, celery, and chopped walnuts.

Wash the salad leaves, pat dry, tear into pieces and distribute onto four plates; top with the mixed salad and garnish with walnut halves.
