Ingredients
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp grated lemon zest
- 200 g butter
- 125 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 250 g flour
- 100 g Ground Almonds
- 1 pinch salt
- 280 ml milk
- butter (for the waffle iron)
- powdered sugar (to dust)
- 100 g sugar
- 3 tbsp butter
- Vanilla ice cream
- 1 Mango
- 2 Kiwis
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions

Beat softened butter with sugar, vanilla sugar and grated lemon zest until creamy. Gradually add eggs. Add flour, almonds, salt and milk, whisking to a smooth batter.

Preheat the waffle iron, lightly brush with butter and cook waffles until golden brown.

Melt sugar with butter into a light caramel, slowly pour in 100 ml water, stir and let cool.

Peel mango, remove pit and slice into strips. Peel kiwis and cut into wedges. Drizzle fruit with lemon juice.

Serve by dusting waffles with powdered sugar, topping with fruit, vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.
