Ingredients
- 125 g soft butter
- 125 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 120 g flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 50 g ground almonds
- butter (for the waffle iron)
- 250 g quark
- 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 1 untreated orange (juice and zest)
- 20 ml orange liqueur
- 200 ml whipping cream
- orange zest
- orange fillets
- mint
Instructions

Cream the butter with the sugar, then gradually add the eggs and beat until frothy. Mix in the flour and almonds, folding them into the batter.

For the filling, whisk the quark with sugar, orange zest, juice, and liqueur until smooth, then fold in the whipped cream.

Grease the waffle iron with a little butter, pour 1–2 tbsp of batter into each section, and cook until golden brown. Repeat until all batter is used.

Cut the waffles into quarters, spread with the filling, and stack as desired to form a tower. Garnish with orange zest, fillets, and mint before serving.
