Ingredients

  • 2 shallots
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 0.5 orange bell pepper
  • 150 g green asparagus
  • 4 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 4 bratwurst sausages
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 tsp chopped thyme
  • 4 baguette rolls
  • 4 tsp medium-hot mustard

    Peel the shallots and garlic, slice the shallots into strips and finely chop the garlic. Wash, trim and cut the bell peppers into thin strips. Rinse the asparagus, drain, trim the ends and cut into about 4 cm pieces. Heat rapeseed oil in a pan and brown the sausages all around. In another pan heat olive oil and sauté the shallots and garlic. Add the vegetables and cook while stirring for about 8 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and thyme. Cut the rolls lengthwise, place one sausage in each, add a little mustard and top with the vegetable mixture.
