Ingredients
- 4 tomatoes
- 2 sticks of celery
- 4 lettuce leaves (e.g., romaine)
- 1 clove garlic
- 100 g cream cheese (light, optional)
- 250 g canned tuna in its own juice
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- Salt
- chili powder
- 8 slices whole‑grain toast

Peel the tomatoes, blanch, shock, peel, quarter, seed and dice finely. Wash, trim and cut the celery into small pieces. Rinse, dry and tear the lettuce into bite‑sized pieces. Peel the garlic and mash it into the cream cheese. Drain the tuna well, stir it into the cream cheese and combine all prepared ingredients. Season with lemon juice, salt and chili.

Toast the bread slices until golden brown and spread the tuna salad on four of them. Place one slice on top of each, cut diagonally and secure with toothpicks before serving.
