Ingredients
- 800 g tomatoes
- 2 green chili peppers (chopped)
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 0.5 tsp mustard seeds
- 4 garlic cloves (chopped)
- 0.5 tsp Asafoetida
- 8 curry leaves
- 1 tbsp oil
- Salt

Wash the tomatoes, roughly chop and puree them. Add 2 cups of water, salt, and bring everything to a boil. Add green chilies, coriander, and sugar, then simmer gently for 10 minutes. Set aside.

Heat oil in a small saucepan, add mustard seeds and roast until they start to crackle. Add garlic, asafoetida, and curry powder, and briefly sauté. Pour the mixture over the sauce and serve hot.
