Ingredients
- 2 Paprika peppers
- 2 onions
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 1 EL Parsley
- 1 EL Basil
- 1 kg tomatoes
- 2 EL olive oil
- 4 piment berries
- 2 cloves
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 0.5 TL Sugar
- 1 EL balsamic vinegar

Wash the paprika peppers, halve them, remove seeds, clean and cut into pieces. Peel onions and garlic cloves and finely dice. Wash tomatoes and chop small.

Heat oil in a wide pot and sauté onions until translucent. Add paprika and garlic and cook for about 4 minutes; stir in tomatoes, parsley, basil, piment, cloves, and bay leaf, seasoning with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer covered on low heat for about 1 hour.
