Thai Spicy Sauce

A Thai spicy sauce made with fresh ingredients from the dip category.

Ingredients

  • 4 red chili peppers
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 6 tbsp oyster sauce (Asian store)
  • 80 ml chili chicken sauce (Asian store)
  • 8 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Wash the chilies, trim the stems and finely chop them with the seeds. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Add the chilies and garlic to a pot along with the remaining ingredients.

    Pour in 200 ml water, bring to a boil and simmer for about 15 minutes, then puree and pour into hot sterilized jars. Keeps refrigerated for about 3 weeks.
