Cream Sauce

A creamy sauce made with fresh ingredients from the cream sauce category.

Ingredients

  • 0.125 l dry white wine
  • 500 ml whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp cold butter
  • Salt
  • white pepper (freshly ground)

Instructions

    Pour the white wine into a pot and reduce over medium heat until about half its volume remains. Add the cream, stirring, and continue to reduce over mild to medium heat until it thickens to about half again. Remove from heat and stir in the butter.

    Season with salt and pepper, then use as desired or serve immediately.
