Tea Punch

Tea punch is the solution for summer punch lovers. The delicious combination of black tea and mint is always well received.

Ingredients

  • 1 Organic lemon
  • 10 g ginger
  • 2 handfuls strawberry mint
  • 3 bags black tea
  • 1 tbsp apple syrup
  • 1 handful (Nana) mint (alternatively peppermint)
  • 50 ml dark rum
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

    Wash the lemon hot and slice it. Set aside a few slices. Peel the ginger and cut into thin slices. Rinse the strawberry mint and set aside some leaves for garnish. Add the lemon slices, ginger, and mint with the black tea to a tall pot and pour 1 l of boiling water over them. Stir in the apple syrup. After 2 minutes remove the tea bags and let the tea chill for at least 2 hours.

    Rinse the Nana mint and shake it dry. After 30 minutes add it to the cold tea. Stir in the rum.

    Pour the well-chilled punch into a punch bowl and serve with ice cubes, remaining mint, and lemon slices.
