Ingredients
- 250 ml milk
- 50 g butter
- 10 g sugar
- 0.5 Vanilla bean
- 90 g durum wheat semolina
- 1 egg
- 125 g plum jam
- 1 untreated orange
- Cinnamon
- 1 heaped tsp candied ginger cubes
- 2 yolks
- 75 g sugar
- 250 ml white wine

Add milk, butter, sugar and extracted vanilla seed to a pot, bring to a boil, then stir in the semolina over medium heat until the mixture loosens from the bottom. Whisk in the egg and let cool.

Bring plenty of water with a pinch of salt to a boil; divide the dumpling dough into 8 equal parts and shape into balls. Cook in boiling water for 4 minutes, remove with a slotted spoon and drain.
