Ingredients
- 500 g sour cherries (if from a jar)
- 150 g rye bread
- 4 eggs
- 150 g sugar
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
- 1 pinch cloves powder
- butter (for the pan)
- breadcrumbs (for the pan)

Wash and pit the cherries.

Finely crumble the rye bread.

Beat the sugar with the eggs until creamy, then fold in the bread crumbs, cinnamon, and cloves; pour the batter into a buttered pan lined with breadcrumbs, spread the cherries on top and gently press them in.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 50 minutes, remove, let cool slightly, then unmold and allow to cool completely.

Sprinkle powdered sugar before serving.
