Ingredients

  • 8 lasagne sheets
  • 0.25 l milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 800 ml milk (1.5% fat)
  • 2 packets Vanilla Pudding Powder
  • 100 g sugar
  • 500 g low‑fat quark
  • 1 jar cherry filling
  • 4 tbsp toasted almond flakes

Instructions

  1. 1.

Cook the lasagna sheets in plenty of water with the milk and sugar until tender.

  2. 2.

Remove the cooked sheets with a slotted spoon, drain, and lay them side by side on plastic wrap to cool.

  3. 3.

Drain the cherries well; reserve the juice for another use.

  4. 4.

Whisk the pudding powder with sugar and a splash of milk until smooth. Bring the remaining milk to a boil, then add the mixture while stirring. Let it come to a gentle boil, set aside, and let it cool slightly.

  5. 5.

Fold in the quark. Layer half of the pasta sheets in a baking dish, pour one‑third of the cream over them, spread half the cherries, top with another third of the cream, smooth, then add the remaining pasta sheets and cover with the rest of the cream. Sprinkle the remaining cherries on top and garnish with almond flakes.

  6. 6.

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving as a dessert or with coffee.
