Ingredients
- 200 g Flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 100 g sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 lemon (including grated zest)
- 4 tbsp oil
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 2 Eggs
- Strawberry jam
- rendered fat (butter shortening)
- powdered sugar
- Cinnamon
Instructions

Mix flour with baking powder and salt. In a shallow dish, add the eggs, salt, sugar, cinnamon, lemon zest, oil, and baking powder; knead into a dough. Let the dough rest in a warm place for 1 hour.

Shape balls by hand. Insert jam into each ball using a syringe. Fry the balls in hot fat on both sides until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
