Stuffed Apple with Nuts and Jam

A delightful dessert featuring fresh apples filled with marzipan, orange liqueur, blackberry jam, hazelnuts, and topped with butter flakes.
Ingredients
- butter (for greasing the pan)
- 4 tart apples
- 100 g marzipan base
- 20 ml orange liqueur
- 1 tsp orange zest (unprocessed)
- 100 g blackberry jam
- 3 tbsp ground hazelnuts
- butter flakes (for topping)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 180°C with fan and top heat. Grease a baking dish or tin with butter.

Wash the apples and core them. Cut a star-shaped notch around each stem, then hollow out the interior. Seal the bottom cavity with a bit of marzipan and place the apple in the pan.

Crush the marzipan with orange liqueur and zest using a fork until smooth. Mix in the jam and hazelnuts, then fill the apples. Sprinkle butter flakes on top and bake for about 30 minutes.
