Ingredients

  • 0.5 Vanilla pod
  • 100 g Ground Almonds
  • 50 g raw cane sugar
  • 100 g spelt flour
  • 100 g butter (or margarine)

Instructions

    Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with a knife edge. Combine with almonds, flour, and sugar in a bowl and mix.

    Melt the fat in a pot over medium heat.

  3. 3.

    Add the liquid fat to the dry mixture and stir well.

  4. 4.

    Use your hands to form the crumbly mass into streusel crumbs and use as a topping for fruit cakes or fruits for crumble.
