Strawberry Shake

Delicious and filling: Try the Strawberry Shake from Spoonsparrow as a breakfast or on-the-go snack.

Ingredients

  • 500 g strawberries
  • 1 Banana
  • juice of half a lemon
  • 2 tbsp yogurt
  • 200 ml apple juice (cloudy)
  • 2 Tbsp crushed ice

Instructions

    Wash, clean and halve the strawberries. Skewer 12 halves with optional greens onto four wooden sticks and chill for about 20 minutes.

    Combine remaining strawberries with peeled, mashed banana, lemon juice, yogurt, apple juice and crushed ice in a blender and blend until smooth. Sweeten with honey if desired. Pour the strawberry shake into four glasses (use slightly more or less apple juice as needed) and garnish each with a strawberry skewer.
