Strawberry Jam 3:1
Spoonsparrow strawberry jam 3:1: We combine three parts fruit to one part gelatin sugar – making the spread extra fruity!
Ingredients
- 1.5 kg strawberries
- 1 vanilla pod
- 1 Organic lemon
- 500 g gelatin sugar 3:1

Clean, wash and roughly chop the strawberries. Split the vanilla pod and scrape out the seeds. Halve the lemon and squeeze its juice. Add the strawberries, vanilla seeds, pod, lemon juice and sugar to a large pot. Mix well and let steep covered for about 1 hour.

Meanwhile, boil jars in a large pot of hot water for about 10 minutes. Remove the jars from the water and place them upside down on clean kitchen towels to cool.

Bring the strawberry mixture to a rolling boil and simmer for about 4 minutes while stirring constantly. Skim off any foam if needed. Remove the jam from heat, discard the vanilla pod, and fill the sterilized jars. Seal tightly and let cool upside down.
