Spicy Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf roll (from yesterday)
  • 2 Spring Onions
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 2 chili peppers
  • 600 g mixed ground meat
  • 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 1 tsp hot paprika powder
  • oil for frying

Instructions

    Soak the roll in lukewarm water. Wash, trim and finely chop the spring onions. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Wash, trim and chop the chili peppers. Place the ground meat in a large bowl. Add the squeezed-out roll with the spring onions, garlic, chili, parsley, egg, salt, pepper and paprika to the meat. Knead everything well and shape small balls from the mixture.

    Brown the meatballs for 6-8 minutes all around in hot oil in a non-stick pan. Drain on kitchen paper and serve.
