Spicy Layered Quark Cream

Ingredients
- 500 g cottage cheese (20% fat)
- 250 g buttermilk quark
- 250 g low‑calorie cream cheese
- juice of one lemon
- 6 tbsp Olive oil
- salt, freshly ground pepper
- 1 small loaf of white bread
- 2 Garlic cloves
- herbs de Provence
Instructions

Mix both types of quark with the cream cheese, lemon juice and 2 tbsp olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.

Cut the loaf crosswise into slices, then use a round cutter (glass size) to punch out discs from the slices. Heat the remaining olive oil. Peel the garlic. Fry the bread discs in the olive oil until golden brown, pressing the garlic into them as you go.

Fill a piping bag with a large tip with the quark mixture. Alternate layering the mixture and the bread discs in glasses. Sprinkle with herbs before serving.
