Spiced Brownies

Especially delicious in the cold season: The spiced brownies from Spoonsparrow fit perfectly into the Advent bakery.

Ingredients

  • 100 g butter
  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 180 g cane sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • Salt
  • cinnamon (¼ tsp)
  • cardamom (¼ tsp)
  • clove (¼ tsp)
  • coriander (¼ tsp)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 200 g Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 100 g chopped almonds
  • butter (for greasing the pan)

Instructions

    Melt butter and stir in finely chopped chocolate until melted. Mix sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, and spices together. Beat in the eggs. Fold in flour, baking powder, and almonds into the chocolate mixture.

    Spread batter into the greased pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (mid-level) for about 30 minutes. After cooling, cut into pieces.
