With the spice oil from Spoonsparrow, you can refine your dishes in no time and give them that special touch.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Rapeseed Oil
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 tbsp allspice berries
- 1 tbsp peppercorns
- 2 Bay leaves
- 2 nutmeg flowers
- 6 cloves
Instructions

Gently crush allspice berries and peppercorns in a mortar. Add cinnamon, bay leaves, nutmeg flowers, cloves, and rapeseed oil to a pot over low heat and warm for about 10 minutes.

Transfer the mixture into a sterile container, seal tightly, and let it rest for 2 weeks in a dark, cool place.

Afterward strain the spice oil through a fine sieve as desired. It is excellent for sautéing Asian and Indian meat dishes.
