Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

  • 400 g spaghetti
  • 500 g tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp extra‑virgin olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • a pinch of chili powder

Instructions

    Wash the tomatoes, halve them, remove seeds and dice. Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic.

    Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.

    Add the tomatoes and simmer for about 5 minutes while stirring. Season with salt, pepper and chili powder to taste. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions, drain and serve immediately with the sauce.
