Smoked Duck on Salad

Ingredients
- 200 g Batavia lettuce
- 2 oranges
- 150 g fresh cranberries
- 4 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tsp liquid honey
- 6 tbsp grape seed oil
- Salt
- freshly ground pepper
- 250 g smoked duck breast fillet (sliced)
- 4 slices toast bread

Clean, rinse, dry, and tear the lettuce into bite‑size pieces.

Peel the oranges thoroughly with a knife, cut the segments from the membranes, and collect the juice. Squeeze any remaining pulp for extra juice.

Place the cranberries and orange juice in a small pot, bring to a boil until the berries start to burst, then set aside to cool.

Whisk together lemon juice, honey, and oil for the dressing; season with salt and pepper.

Arrange the orange slices on plates with lettuce, drizzle the dressing over them, and top with cranberries and duck slices.

Toast the bread slices until golden‑brown, cut star shapes out of them, and serve as garnish on the salad.
