Ingredients

  • 100 g butter
  • 75 g whole cane sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 125 g spelt flour type 1050
  • 30 g cocoa powder
  • 100 g walnuts
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 50 g yogurt

Instructions

    Beat butter and whole cane sugar until fluffy. Gradually stir in the eggs. Mix flour with cocoa powder, baking powder, and a pinch of salt; add to the egg mixture and whisk into a smooth batter.

    Coarsely chop the walnuts and fold them in. Pour the batter into a greased or parchment-lined pan if needed, and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (fan 160°C; gas: level 2-3) for about 30–35 minutes. Remove the simple brownies from the oven and let cool.

    Meanwhile, for the glaze, coarsely chop dark chocolate and melt it over a bain‑marié or in microwave intervals. Stir yogurt into the still warm melted chocolate and spread the glaze over the brownies. Let set slightly, then cut into pieces and serve.
