The semolina porridge with mandarin from Spoonsparrow provides the children with valuable B vitamins and half of the daily requirement of immune‑boosting vitamin C.

Ingredients

  • 20 g whole grain semolina
  • 100 g mandarin
  • 10 g rapeseed oil

Instructions

    Bring 80 ml water to a boil in a small pot. Whisk in the semolina with a whisk. Bring to a gentle boil while stirring, then remove from heat and let it stand for 5 minutes to absorb.

    Meanwhile, peel the mandarin, cut crosswise into slices and de‑seed. Roughly cube, place in a small bowl and briefly blend with an immersion blender.

    Stir the oil into the semolina porridge, check the temperature, and feed.
