- 225 g flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 50 g softened butter
- 150 g yogurt
- 1 egg yolk
- 150 g clotted cream
- 150 g strawberry jam
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
- flour (for working)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 200°C fan.

Knead the flour with baking powder, sugar, salt, softened butter and enough yogurt until the dough is smooth and easy to knead. Roll out on a floured surface to about 2 cm thickness and cut into 5 cm diameter rounds using grooved cutters.

Brush with beaten egg yolk and bake in the hot oven for about 15 minutes until golden brown. Let cool and dust with powdered sugar.

Serve by cutting in half and offering clotted cream and jam on the side.
