Apple Scones

Ingredients

  • 225 g flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 50 g softened butter
  • 1 apple (finely diced)
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 egg yolk

Instructions

    Mix all ingredients except the yogurt and egg yolk together, then knead in enough yogurt so that the dough holds together well; roll out to 2 cm thickness.

    Cut with round cutters, brush with beaten egg yolk, and bake in a hot oven at 200°C for 10–15 minutes until golden yellow.
