Ingredients
- 225 g flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 50 g softened butter
- 150 g yogurt
- flour (for working)
- 1 egg yolk
- 200 ml whipping cream
- 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tbsp elderflower syrup

Preheat the oven to 200°C fan.

Knead the flour with baking powder, sugar, salt, butter and enough yogurt until the dough is smooth and easy to knead. Roll the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of 2–3 cm and cut into about 12 equal triangles.

Place the triangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush with beaten egg yolk, and bake in the hot oven for about 15 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and set on a cooling rack.

Whip the cream with vanilla sugar and elderflower syrup to half‑firm peaks.

Serve the scones warm or cooled with the whipped cream as desired.
