- 100 g bacon
- 2 onions
- butter (for browning)
- 300 g sauerkraut
- 5 juniper berries
- 2 Bay leaves
- 3 Cloves
- 6 dried plums
- broth
- 150 g Mushrooms
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
Instructions

Dice the bacon and onions. Heat butter and render the bacon in it. Add the onions, brown slightly. Add the sauerkraut with spices, mix well and simmer for about 10 minutes.

Slice the dried plums into strips and add them, cook through. Pour in a little broth if needed.

Slice the mushrooms. After about 20 minutes of cooking, add the mushrooms and simmer for another 5-10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
