Ingredients
- 6 large red small bell pepper halves
- olive oil
- Salt
- 400 g low‑fat quark
- 0.5 tsp lemon zest
- 2 Tbsp whipping cream
- 2 tbsp finely chopped basil
- 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley
- pepper (ground)
- basil (for garnish)
Instructions

Preheat the oven grill to 220°C with upper and lower heat.

Wash the peppers, halve them (leave stems), remove seeds and white walls. Drizzle with a little oil, salt, and brown each side for 4–5 minutes under the grill.

Whisk the quark with lemon zest, cream, and herbs until smooth; season with salt and pepper. Fill the pepper halves with the mixture and garnish with basil leaves before serving.
