Ingredients

  • 300 g puff pastry (frozen)
  • flour (for the work surface)
  • 1 egg yolk (for brushing)
  • butter (for the baking sheet)
  • flour (for the baking sheet)
  • 2 boxes watercress
  • 1 bunch radishes
  • 250 g smoked salmon
  • 4 tbsp sour cream horseradish

Instructions

  1. 1.

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan. Let the puff pastry thaw while laid side by side. Cut each sheet in half, lightly roll on a floured surface and cut out stars (5 cm diameter). Slightly press the center of each star, brush with egg yolk, place on a greased baking sheet dusted with flour and bake for about 12 minutes on the middle rack until golden yellow. Remove and cool. Peel, wash and slice radishes thinly. Slice smoked salmon into thin strips. Cut watercress from the box with scissors. Toss radishes, salmon and watercress loosely together.

  2. 2.

Brush the pastry stars lightly with sour cream horseradish, spoon the salmon mixture onto them and serve.
