Ingredients

  • 1 handful organic rose petals (strongly fragrant)
  • 80 g whole cane sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 l dry white wine (e.g., Riesling dry)
  • 750 ml sparkling wine
  • 500 g strawberries
  • 1 l carbonated mineral water
  • organic rose petals (for garnish)

Instructions

    Wash the rose petals, pat them dry and remove any bitter stem ends. Place the petals in a punch bowl. Sprinkle whole cane sugar and salt over them, then pour in the white wine. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

    Before serving wash and chop the strawberries, add them to the punch, and top with chilled sparkling wine and mineral water. Garnish with the remaining rose petals and serve.
