Ingredients
- 2 heads of garlic
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
-
1.
Cut the tip of each head of garlic about 1 cm wide so that individual cloves are exposed.
-
2.
Place the heads on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil, lightly salt and pepper.
-
3.
Roast in a preheated oven at 180 °C (fan 160 °C; gas: level 2–3) for about 30 minutes until golden brown and the cloves are soft.
-
4.
Remove from the oven, let cool briefly, then squeeze the cloves out of their skins. Roasted garlic can be served as a spread with fresh sourdough bread or incorporated into spaghetti dishes.
