- 1 chicken (ca. 1.4 kg)
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 2 untreated lemons
- 3 tbsp black, pitted olives (jarred)
- 1 tbsp capers (jarred)
- 1 bunch parsley
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 150 ml dry white wine

Wash the chicken, pat dry, cut into 8 pieces and season with salt and pepper. Rinse the lemons hot, dry, and cut into wedges. Drain the olives and capers well. Wash the parsley, shake dry, remove leaves from stems, and finely chop.

Heat oil in a pan and brown the chicken pieces on all sides. Add the lemon wedges, olives, and capers; deglaze with wine and simmer covered over medium heat for about 20-25 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.
