Ingredients
- 100 g quark
- 100 g flour
- 50 g poppy seeds
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 ml milk
- 100 g currants
- 2 tbsp butter
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions

Whisk the quark with flour, poppy seeds, sugar, eggs and milk into a batter and let it rest.

Wash the currants, pluck them from their stems, rinse, pat dry and fold them into the batter (reserve some for garnish).

Heat butter in a large pan, pour in the batter and cook until browned on the bottom. Flip, continue cooking over low heat for a few minutes, then break into pieces with a fork; transfer to a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (middle rack) for about 3 minutes.

Dust with powdered sugar and serve garnished with currants.
