Ingredients

  • 1 cardamom pod
  • 0.5 cinnamon stick
  • 2 tbsp green tea leaves
  • 1 Lime (juice)
  • 100 g sugar

Instructions

    Boil the cardamom with the cinnamon and 500 ml water. Remove from heat and let steep for 5 minutes. Add the tea, steep for another 3 minutes, then strain through a sieve.

    Cut the lime in half, squeeze out the juice, and stir it into the tea along with the sugar until dissolved. Cool the mixture and pour it into a shallow dish. Freeze for about 3 hours, stirring every 15 minutes with a fork.

    Before serving, stir well again and serve the granita over glasses.
