Berry Sorbet

Ingredients

  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 stalk mint
  • 1 kg mixed berries (e.g., blackberry, blueberry, raspberry and strawberry)
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 40 ml cassis

Instructions

    Boil the sugar with 250 ml water. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and add the mint. Let the syrup cool.

    Wash, trim and drain the berries well. Puree finely in a blender and strain through a sieve. Mix with lemon juice and liqueur. Pour the syrup through a sieve into the mixture and stir. Transfer to a shallow dish and place in the freezer. Freeze for about 3 hours, stirring occasionally with a fork.
