Ingredients

  • 200 g low‑fat quark
  • 100 ml oil
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 300 g flour
  • 2 small tart Boskop apples
  • flour (for working)
  • Hail sugar

Instructions

    Mix quark, oil and sugar; knead in flour and baking powder.

  2. 2.

    Peel, grate the apples and fold them into the dough immediately.

  3. 3.

    Shape small rolls with floured hands, place on a parchment‑lined tray, cut a shallow notch on top. Brush the rolls with water and sprinkle with hail sugar.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 35 minutes.
