Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg pumpkin (muskat)
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 orange
  • 100 ml apple juice
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 500 g gelatin sugar

Instructions

    Peel, seed, and dice the pumpkin into small cubes (about 1 kg). Squeeze the juice from the lemon and orange.

    Add the lemon, orange, and apple juices along with the ginger to the pumpkin and bring to a boil while stirring occasionally. Cook the pumpkin for about 20 minutes until it is tender but not falling apart, then stir in the gelatin sugar and continue cooking, stirring, for 4 minutes until bubbling.

    Pour the hot jam into prepared jars and seal immediately.
