  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 Green Chili Pepper
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)

    Peel the shallot and dice finely. Peel the garlic and press it through a garlic press. Wash the chili pepper, halve lengthwise, remove seeds, and dice very finely. Halve the avocados, remove pits, and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Combine the avocado flesh with lemon juice, mash with a fork, and mix well with the remaining ingredients. Season with salt and pepper and taste to adjust. Fill small bowls.

    Heat oil in a large pot or deep fryer. Slice the pumpkin flesh into thin rounds and fry in hot fat until golden yellow. Sprinkle with salt and drain on kitchen paper. Serve sprinkled with salt alongside the guacamole.
