Potato Wedges

Our spicy‑crispy potato wedges from Spoonsparrow are a hit on every plate – bake them in the oven and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 kg waxy potatoes
  • 1 tsp Caraway seeds
  • 1 tbsp sweet paprika powder
  • 0.5 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 4 tbsp olive oil (40 g each)
  • 50 g sour cream
  • 50 g chutney
  • 50 g herb quark

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Wash, peel, and quarter the potatoes lengthwise; place them in a bowl. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. 2.

    Mix caraway, paprika, chili, rosemary, and oregano together. Add salt and pepper, then stir in olive oil. Thoroughly coat the potatoes with the seasoned oil mixture.

    Spread the potatoes on the prepared baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (180°C fan‑forced; gas: level 3) for about 40 minutes until crisp, turning occasionally.

    Serve the potato wedges with sour cream, chutney, and herb quark.
