Potato Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 800 g firm potatoes (cooked)
  • Salt
  • nutmeg
  • 1 onion
  • 100 g butter

Instructions

    Peel and grate the potatoes cooked the day before. Season with salt and nutmeg.

    Remove the onion skin and dice it finely. Sauté in 2 tbsp hot butter. Add the potatoes and fry for about 2 minutes without flipping. Flip, press together into a large patty. Pour half of the remaining butter over it and cover. Cook on low heat for about 6 minutes until golden brown. Flip again, add the rest of the butter to the patty, cover, and bake for another 6 minutes. Finally, tear the patty roughly with a spoon and serve.
