Porridge with Berries and Almonds

Spoonsparrow Porridge with berries and almonds is perfect as a healthy breakfast!
Ingredients
- 400 ml milk (1.5% fat) or plant drink (e.g., almond milk)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 200 g fine rolled oats
- 60 g toasted almond slivers
- 300 g Strawberries
- 150 g raspberries
- 150 g blueberries
- 1 lemon

Bring the milk, honey, and 400 ml water to a boil in a pot. Stir in the oats and simmer over low heat for about 5–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened and cooked through.

Meanwhile, toast the almonds in a dry skillet until fragrant. Wash the berries gently, pat them dry, and cut the strawberries into quarters. Rinse the lemon under hot water, pat it dry, and finely grate the zest. Divide the porridge among four bowls and garnish with berries, toasted almonds, and lemon zest.
