- 4 thick pork chops
- 2 tbsp clarified butter
- 200 ml apple juice
- 1 piece ginger (4-5 cm, finely chopped)
- Salt
- chili powder

Melt the clarified butter in a large pan and sear the pork chops for about 3‑4 minutes on each side. Remove them from the pan and keep warm.

Break up the browned bits with apple juice, add ginger, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until the liquid has reduced by half. Season the sauce with salt and chili powder. Arrange the pork chops on a plate and drizzle with the sauce.
